VOLUNTEER

Th’YARC is a registered charitable organization and relies heavily on local volunteers in many aspects.

Volunteering can be in many different forms.

We are very fortunate to have many of volunteers to help us daily, monthly and sometimes just yearly.

All local stage productions at Th’YARC are done by our volunteers.

Whether you are interested in being onstage, backstage, front of house, set building, set painting, props, wardrobe, prompting or being a grip, there is always a place for you.

Volunteers are also involved in sound and lighting for local productions.

Being a volunteer has many advantages:

Volunteering helps counteract the effects of stress, anger, and anxiety.
Volunteering combats depression.
Volunteering makes you happy.
Volunteering increases self-confidence.
Volunteering provides a sense of purpose.

Our volunteers are a vital and very important part of this organization and we are always looking for people who would like to get involved.

Yarmouth’s crown jewel of entertainment. Excellent local productions and “imported” productions as well. Have never been disappointed in an evening at Th’YARC.

Great venue. Lovely people to work with. Always a pleasure.

I have attended many shows there and have enjoyed every one of them. Always a great group of actors and volunteers.

The dedication of the cast and producers of each and every show I have seen is just amazing. The set ups are always well done. So much time, dedication and attention comes with each and every cast member. I love the talent and interest shown here in our small town of Yarmouth.
