VOLUNTEER
Th’YARC is a registered charitable organization and relies heavily on local volunteers in many aspects.
Volunteering can be in many different forms.
We are very fortunate to have many of volunteers to help us daily, monthly and sometimes just yearly.
All local stage productions at Th’YARC are done by our volunteers.
Whether you are interested in being onstage, backstage, front of house, set building, set painting, props, wardrobe, prompting or being a grip, there is always a place for you.
Volunteers are also involved in sound and lighting for local productions.
Being a volunteer has many advantages:
- Volunteering helps counteract the effects of stress, anger, and anxiety.
- Volunteering combats depression.
- Volunteering makes you happy.
- Volunteering increases self-confidence.
- Volunteering provides a sense of purpose.
Our volunteers are a vital and very important part of this organization and we are always looking for people who would like to get involved.
