WAYNE ROSTAD

ON THE ROAD ... AGAIN!

AND IN CONCERT

Oct 24 7:30 pm

Wayne Rostad is arguably Canada's most recognized TV personality.

It's been one year since his widely revered, multi Gemini award-winning CBC-TV program On The Road Again, went off air after 20 seasons - we're thrilled to announce that Wayne's itch to get back On The Road ... Again! has returned.

Member of the Order of Canada, this gentle giant of a man with the sparkling wit, easy stage presence and indefatigable passion for the people and stories that colour this country make him without a doubt 'the real deal'. And it comes singing through loud and clear from the stage:
"One minute, Rostad had them rolling in the aisles, the next, riveted to their seats"
- Edmonton Journal;

"A natural entertainer extraordinaire "

- Ottawa Citizen;

" he held the crowd in the palm of his hand" - Winnipeg Sun; "Wayne Rostad comes across as the genuine article, a man who cares about what he does, his country and its people"

- Halifax Chronicle Herald.

Join him, up close and personal, for an evening of tales from the road, laughter and song.

THE DIVORCEES

October 25, 8 pm

From a humble Canadian province steeped in country, bluegrass, Celtic and Acadian music
come a remarkable sound that has turned on diehard country fans internationally. 2007 proved to
be a banner year for THE DIVORCEES with non-stop touring, performances on CBC TV’s national broadcast of the East Coast Music Awards, an ECMA nomination for Group of The Year, and a spot on the bill in front of tens of thousands of country fanatics during Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s only outdoor stop of the ‘Soul II Soul II’ tour also featuring George Canyon & Johnny Reid. As 2007 drew to a close, THE DIVORCEES received a second nomination for the East Coast Music Association – this time for Country Artist of the Year. The Divorcees are the genuine article. It’s easy to see that these musicians are totally enjoying themselves and this shines through in their music with songs like “Red Blooded Woman”. And for the record… it is pronounced Divor CEES… not SAYS.
